Pinewoods Elementary School

Welcome to Pinewoods Elementary School, home of the Eagles!

We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to check out our school. For many of you, this is the first opportunity you have had to get to know Pinewoods’ culture and values. Our mission is to work together to learn, grown, and achieve our goals in a safe environment.

Pinewoods Elementary first opened in 1994 and is home to over 1,100 Pre-K to Fifth Grade students. We are passionate about the success of our students and provide engaging and practical lessons through our whole environment, including our on campus boardwalk and beautiful garden. We have a strong relationship with our parents and community, including collaborative projects with Florida Gulf Coast University through their College of Education and Service Learning Department, as well as the Village of Estero.

We are also pioneers in inclusion and co-teach settings. We strongly believe in inclusive educational experiences for all students, from all backgrounds and abilities. The needs of our students drive our decisions.  Most importantly, we strive for the highest level of safety and security. We are always looking for ways to improve and keep our students, staff, and community as safe as possible.

Again, welcome to Pinewoods, where our students will SOAR to the TOP!
