RENAISSANCE PROGRAM

We believe academic as well as personal achievement should be respected, recognized, rewarded and reinforced.    Therefore, we proudly continue our participation in the Renaissance Movement, along with more than 7,000 schools in the state of Florida, to support and foster excellence in education.

Teachers and students work together to establish benchmark academic and personal behavioral goals. As the students meet or improve these goals, they are invited to a quarterly celebration and are presented with their official dog tag to wear proudly on campus and in our community.

Students enjoy the recognition they receive and work hard to meet their goals.  We reward all of our students who achieve academic excellence.  We also reward behavior and personal development, effort, progress, and maintenance and/or improvement in achievement as well as our "Renaissance Kids" who have been caught doing something GREAT at our school.

Renaissance also encourages the involvement of parents, local businesses and community organizations.  Many of the rewards given to the students to recognize their achievements come from local businesses. 

With the support of community sponsors and our parents, we are achieving excellence in our school.  We are showing students that Renaissance is a word that means, "strive for excellence and you will succeed."
